Oyo Govt Trains 130 Civil servants on Advance Microsoft Excel

Oyo state government has charged 130 civil servants which was drawn from different Ministries, Department and agencies for training and workshop to live up to expectation by applying the vital skills which would be learn in advanced Excel for data processing skills inorder to ensure civil servants acquired the right skills that will be useful for the improvement of the state civil service.
This was stated by the commissioner for for Establishment and training, Hon. Siju Lawal during a day capacity building and workshop for 130 civil servants from MDAs in advance Excel for data processing and performance improvement for executive officers.
Hon. Lawal said that the present administration has trained 489 participants on the use of computer at various levels and other secretarial related courses to improve the skills of civil servants in connecting to the world through computer knowledge.
He further noted that acquisition of data and analytical skills by civil servants can save time and money which will lead to growth in productivity, accurate and reliable on processed and analyzed data.
In her welcome address, Director management, secretarial, computer and business studies, Mrs Stella Okedum noted that the workshop is aimed at updating a d refreshing the knowledge of the state civil servants on the application of civil service rules and regulations for excellence service delivery.
She urged all the participants to give the workshop the attention it deserves in order to encourage government to do more for its workers.
