Olubadan throne: Oyo APC guber hopeful, Agbaje felicitates Lekan Baolugun

All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain and the 2023 Guber hopeful Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje , has felicitated with the new Olubadan of Ibadan land Dr. Lekan Balogun on his accession throne of his fore-father’s.
He stated this while felicitation visit to the Olubadan Designate as 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland at his Alarere resident ahead of the coronation ceremony which would be coming up on March 11.
Barr. Agbaje says that his visit to the 42nd Olubadan was not in line with his political ambition but to pay homage to senator Balogun before his installation as he has been a father to him.
In his words Barrister Akeem Agbaje, said, “I have come to pay homage to our father the Olubadan designate and to congratulate him on his appointment and ascension on the throne because to become Olubadan it take grace of God, because as well all know it take a very long ladder and it takes the grace of God to succeed, so when somebody is blessed as he has been blessed to achieve this, I think it’s the best to come and congratulate him before his installation and felicitate with him on his achievements.
Agbaje maintained further that he had a long relationship with Olubadan designate and his family, he said Baba is a father to me and his younger brother Senator Kola Balogun is a very good Egbon to me, so coming here today is an home coming to me, is a celebration with a family that I’m used to and this has nothing to do with my political ambition.
Recalled that the Olubadan designate has been appointed and approved by the state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland and March 11 has been fixed by the state government as a coronation day for Chief Lakan Balogun to step on the throne of his forefather’s as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland following the demise of late Olubadan Oba Saliu Adetunji Ajeoguguniso 1.
