Oyo State has lost a Great Politician : Oyo Speaker Mourns Death of Ex-Gov Akala

The Oyo State Speaker, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin says the death of Former Governor Adebayo Alao Akala is another great loss to Oyo state.
The Speaker stated this in a statement in Ibadan following the announcement of the death of Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala.
The Speaker said the death of the former Governor was another unfortunate and devasting incident in Oyo State
He explained that Ogbomosoland has again lost another great son.
” It is with great sadness that i learned of the death of Chief Adebayo Alao Akala. This is coming exactly four weeks after the passage the Paramount ruler of Ogbomosoland, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade the third. As a Former Governor, Late Adebayo Alao Akala contributed immensely to the development of Oyo state and as a Local Government Chairman in Ogbomoso North Local Government, his impacts are still noticeable.
” Oyo State has lost a very powerful political figure ahead of the 2023 election. He was a charismatic leader. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family, political associates and the people of Ogbomosoland in general. His death is an enormous loss ” Oyo Speaker said
The Speaker in the statement sympathized with the people of Ogbomosoland, and particularly Hon Olawumi Oladeji member representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency on the death of former Governor Alao Akala whom he described as political God father of the lawmaker.
