The statement read:
“It is with great pleasure and delight that I welcome you all to this year edition of our yearly “Christmas fun fair” for both young and old. It’s has always be my dream and passion using all possiblity with my available resources to make people smile. Seen this vision becoming a reality today gladden my heart.
Christmas is all about showing love and compassion to one another infact, it’s a season of love divinely created by God. It’s imperative become important to show love to both young and old during Christmas most especially the less privilege people. Unfortunately Nigeria settings doesn’t care if you are happy or not during this season neither bothered if you can afford what to eat on Christmas day or not, With my wide experience in western world seeing how lovable Christmas is celebrate with zealous impact on humanities, passion and love to others have me this instinct and I couldn’t help but jump into action.
You may recall that this program started last year by giving the children the priority to enjoy the Christmas fun fair but because I strongly believe, that your best eulogy is the kind gesture you render to a person whilst that person is still alive, that alone has taken us far to bring everyone together this year( Young and old) to celebrate Christmas together. Taking care of our people should be seen as first priority and incumbent.
I cannot overemphasized alot of things we have embark on in alleviating our people by meet with various needs in little way. Alot of project has been orchestrated and achieved in short possible time by Abayomi Fagbenro in his compassion for his people. Just to mention view;
1) Enrollment of UTME form for over 100 students yearly.
2) Distribution of palliatives to the masses during covid 19 lockdown.
3) Youth empowerment/ Medical outreach program periodically to less privilege people.
4) Meeting up with some people daily need by giving them money for feeding and medical under supervision of an NGO called “Hope also need help foundation”.
My foray into politics is not accidentally but out of passion and love in taking care of my people sprang up my political involvement now.
In recent time we have taken a cogent step by joining PDP in supporting Gov. Seyi Makinde in the state to add my own coater to what is doing in moving Oyo state forward.
After thorough and wide consultation and seeking the face of God, I have decided to represent you all in the Federal house of Representative in coming election.
On this note, It’s you and I involvement can achieve this Clarion assignment together, without your support I can’t do anything and the time is now.
Once again, I welcome and appreciate you all for coming, let’s enjoy this year Christmas fun fair together, show love and stay blessed.
It’s my prayer that the Lord that brought us here safely will take us back home safely”.
