Yussuf Oladayo kick-starts free medicals on eye test for residents of Ibadan-North LG

The Executive chairman Ibadan North local government, Hon.Yusuf Oladayo has launched a programme tagged Free Eye medical care aimed at treating all those that has sight defect challenges.
Speaking at the Launching ceremony, Hon. Yusuf Oladayo said that the initiative of the program is to complement the good governance of governor makinde in giving out good health care to the people at the local government.
He further noted that the beneficiaries of the range from people with visual impairment to total blindness, noting that those with visual impairment could be saved from blindness.
“We are aware of the economic and social repercussions of blindness. Cataract, which is the leading cause of blindness among our people, is treatable. Yet, many people lack the money to treat it and other eye problems, which lead to blindness,” the governor lamented.
He implored the beneficiaries of the program to abide by the medical advice given to them by the doctors and use their accordingly.
Hon. Yusuf Oladayo extended his appreciation to governor Seyi Makinde for the good health care given to the people of the state and also extending the good gesture to the local government.
Under the program, patients would be given drugs, free eyes surgery and the patients would be given free eyes glasses.
