Ona-Ara LG Boss holds free eye clinic and treatment for 400 residents.

About 400 residents of Ona-Ara local government area have benefited from the free eye clinic and distribution of corrective glasses and eye drops organized by the council boss Hon. Musibau Sanusi.

While Speaking at the council’s Health center at Akanran, Sanusi said the health outreach is aimed at the vulnerable members of the society who may not access higher health facilities. He further said the eye examination and issuance of corrective glasses will serve as a palliative measure while more serious cases will be referred for further examination and treatment.

Sanusi also lauded the giant strides of the Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for prioritizing the yearnings of the larger populace through various social enhancement and inclusive policies championed by his administration.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the government for the free eye clinic and treatment, describing it as a timely intervention to alleviate their plight.
