Revenue Generation: Oyo govt launches gaseous emission scheme

For the growth and development of Oyo State through Revenue Generation, the State government has launched and inaugurates 2022 gaseous emission control scheme into operation.
National Daily news correspondent was at the event where government agency, leadership of mobile advert business were gathered at the Western hall of the Oyo State secretariat.
While declaring year 2022 operation open the Commissioner for Environment and natural resource, Abiodun Oni represented by the Director Pollution, Ministry of Environment, Mrs Modupe Adeleye who harped on the need to make the environment suitable, clean and bearable for the citizen and resident of Oyo state, enjoined stakeholders to corporation with government representatives.
Warned that there will be sanction on any operators that is not ready to work and corporate with government in achieving success
In her speech, the representative of Oyo State internal revenue generation, Mrs Davis Olasunbo, urged private-commercial and commercial vehicles operators that are benefiting from Oyo state infrastructures to desist from getting their documents from neighboring states.
Contributing, the chairman of the event, Victor Bello, while proclaiming that the mobile advert business has been bastardized due to inculcation of louts at the point of operation, urged the members not to allow violence in their heart rather play the game by the rules.
Speaking on behalf of the participant, the Chairman, mobile advert business association, Oyo State chapter, Alfa Tajudeen Olaoye, pledge their readiness to comply with Oyo State government policy as well as called corporation of private commercial and commercial vehicle operators.
Gaseous emission scheme was set up by the State government to limit the discharge of noxious gases into the air through automobile, factory machines among others.
